The nursery is open Monday to Friday 52 weeks of the year with the exception of three days at Christmas and three days at New Year (2019-20: 24th, 25th and 26th, 31st December 2019, and 1st and 2nd January 2020 - subject to change)
Children must attend High Flyers Nursery a minimum of two days.
High Flyers Nursery @ Hallside Road 7.45am - 6.00pm
High Flyers Nursery @ Kirkhill Church 7.30am - 6.00pm
High Flyers nursery places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
The fee rates are as follows (correct as at 01.04.19):
£44.00 (including breakfast, lunch and snacks)
Fees are subject to a planned review in September of each year, however may be reviewed at any time with a period of three months notice for existing service users.
Fees are paid monthly in advance on the first day of each month or weekly in advance on Monday of each week by Direct Debit or childcare vouchers. There is a reduction in cost for two or more children from the same family. If fees are still outstanding after two weeks, your child could lose his or her place at nursery.
For those who make a weekly payment, after six months attendance at nursery two weeks free of charge will be allowed for family holidays. These weeks can either be taken individually or together but must be taken in full weeks. For monthly payments, these two weeks will be discounted from your monthly rate (i.e. monthly payment calculated over 50 weeks). Whilst receiving the discounted holiday rates, children must not be in attendance at nursery.
Four weeks notice must be given in writing if you wish to leave.
Fees must be paid even if your child does not attend nursery or the nursery is closed (for example due to adverse weather conditions).
Partnership with South Lanarkshire Council
After consultation with our existing parents, the nursery successfully applied for partnership with the council which took effect from August 2010. This means that every child attending nursery will receive funding from the term after their third birthday, subject to availability. Staff will also access further training opportunities and support from the Early Learning and Childcare development team at South Lanarkshire Council.
